Homebuyers Protest at RERA Office Demanding Builder's Refund

According to the homebuyers, the Haryana Real Estate Regulatory Authority (HRERA) has issued a directive to the builder to refund the buyers' hard-earned money due to the builder's failure to complete the project within the agreed-upon timeframe. However, the company has allegedly not adhered to the RERA order. The builder is accused of neither returning the money to the buyers nor completing the project as promised.

Homebuyers participating in a real estate project organized a protest outside the Haryana Real Estate Regulatory Authority (HERERA) office. The demonstration was held to highlight the builder's non-compliance with the agreed terms, as they neither refunded the buyers' money nor completed the project as promised.

Homebuyers of the Supertech Hughes project, situated in Sector 68 of the city, recently met with Union Minister and local MP Rao Inderjit Singh. In the meeting, they emphasized the need for decisive action to be taken against the builder. The buyers collectively expressed their strong desire to receive a refund of their hard-earned money.

The homebuyers claim that the Haryana Real Estate Regulatory Authority (HRERA) has instructed the builder to refund their money due to the builder's inability to complete the project within the specified timeframe. However, the company has allegedly not adhered to the RERA order.

According to the allegations made by the homebuyer, SK Sachdeva, the builder is refusing to refund the money and has failed to complete the project. The possession of the flats was originally scheduled for 2017, but until now, no construction of the apartments has been carried out.
