Over the course of five years, the Haryana Real Estate Regulatory Authority (RERA) facilitated the delivery of 250,000 flats in Gurugram

The aim of the Hon'ble Chairman KK Khandelwal of Haryana was to provide respite to homebuyers, and as a result, the Haryana RERA was able to deliver 250,000 flats in Gurugram over a period of five years.

It is important for government officials and authorities to prioritize the needs of citizens, such as providing relief to homebuyers and supporting economic growth through the real estate sector. It will be crucial for the H-Rera Gurugram authority to maintain transparency and accountability in their work and to ensure that all decisions are made in the public's best interests.

According to the speaker, the RERA court has resolved 4,115 cases related to delayed possession charges, resulting in complainants receiving Rs 3,500 crore from defaulting developers. Additionally, 2,246 cases related to refunds were also resolved, in which complainants received Rs 2,500 crore from developers. The amount recovered was unprecedented in the pre-RERA era.

Khandelwal stated that developers are currently following the rules and regulations and that more than 3.5 lakh units in various projects are under RERA's direct supervision. He further added that over 2.54 lakh units have already been handed over to allottees by developers, which he considers a significant accomplishment.

Overall, it is encouraging to see a focus on positive change in Haryana's real estate sector, and I hope that this progress will continue in the future.
