Is it mandatory to register projects with an occupancy certificate (OC) with RERA?

According to RERA regulations in Telangana, all real estate projects that have obtained building permits on or after January 1, 2017 must be registered with RERA. Real estate projects that have obtained building permits before January 1, 2017, with or without OC, are excluded from RERA registration.
