Hyderabad’s real estate sector is witnessing renewed momentum as the Brigade Group plans a significant expansion of its residential portfolio in the city. The Bengaluru-based developer has announced plans to launch around 8 million square feet of residential projects, focusing largely on the premium housing segment. According to Amar Mysore, Executive Director of Brigade Enterprises, the company sees Hyderabad as one of the most promising real estate markets in India due to its strong infrastructure growth, thriving IT ecosystem, and increasing demand for high-end homes.

The upcoming residential projects will be located in prominent micro-markets including Secunderabad and Neopolis, two regions that have witnessed rapid development in recent years. Neopolis, in particular, has emerged as a prime luxury housing destination due to its strategic location near the Financial District and Outer Ring Road. Brigade Group is targeting the premium segment in this area, where ticket sizes are expected to range between ₹4 crore and ₹5.5 crore, catering to high-income professionals and investors looking for luxury living spaces in Hyderabad.

The company’s residential pipeline reflects its long-term growth strategy in the city. The planned 8 million square feet of development will include multiple projects across carefully selected locations. While some projects are already in advanced planning stages, others are still under evaluation as the developer studies market demand and potential land opportunities. Brigade Group is also exploring possibilities in North Hyderabad, a region gaining attention due to upcoming infrastructure developments, improved connectivity, and growing employment hubs.

To support this ambitious expansion, Brigade Group recently acquired a 4.03-acre land parcel in Hyderabad for approximately ₹500 crore. This acquisition will play a crucial role in the company’s development pipeline and help strengthen its presence in the city’s competitive real estate landscape. The developer plans to invest more than ₹5,000 crore over the next three to four years to complete its ongoing and upcoming projects across multiple segments, including residential, commercial, hospitality, and retail developments.

Hyderabad continues to attract major real estate developers due to its relatively affordable property prices compared to other metropolitan cities, along with steady demand from IT professionals and business leaders. With strong infrastructure projects, improved road connectivity, and expansion of business districts, the city has become a preferred destination for premium housing investments.

Through its strategic focus on Hyderabad, Brigade Group aims to expand its total development footprint in the city to approximately 10.5 million square feet by FY27. This figure will include completed developments, projects currently under construction, and upcoming launches planned through March 2028. The company believes that Hyderabad will remain a key growth engine for its long-term expansion in the Indian real estate market.
