Godrej Properties (GPL) has acquired approximately three acres of land in Kokapet, Hyderabad, marking its second land acquisition in the city. With this addition, the total booking value potential in Hyderabad rises to Rs 4,800 crore.
The newly acquired land is estimated to offer a potential of around 1.2 million square feet of saleable area, primarily featuring premium residential apartments of various configurations. The estimated booking value of this development is approximately Rs 1,300 crore.
This acquisition follows GPL's earlier purchase of about 12.5 acres of land in Rajendra Nagar in February 2024. The Rajendra Nagar project is anticipated to offer around 4 million square feet of saleable area, primarily comprising residential apartments, with an estimated revenue potential of about Rs 3,500 crore.
Godrej Properties has been actively acquiring land parcels across India. Recently, it secured an allotment letter from the Noida authority to develop a land parcel in Sector 44 through an e-auction. Spanning approximately 6.46 acres, this project is expected to provide around 1.4 million square feet of development potential, with an estimated revenue potential of about Rs 3,000 crore.
