The authority directed international land developers to refund the amount and Interest at the rate prescribed under rule 15 of the real estate of Haryana on Tuesday, as the builders failed to complete the projects on time.
According to Rule 16 from the Haryana Rules 2017, any refund must be paid by the promoter to the allottee within ninety days of the court's order.
On June 10, 2015, the complainant booked an apartment in international land developers group housing projects.
The promoter failed to deliver the apartment by August 2, 2021. The allottee wishes to withdraw the complaint, seeking a refund with Interest.
The court observed as per the agreement for sale, there is a delay of one year and seven months on the date of filing the complaint. By the terms of the agreement, the developers are liable to refund the amount with Interest as the promoter has failed to give possession.
