Hyderabad: In a strategic move to diversify their business portfolio, the promoters of MSN Pharma have established a new company, MSN Realty, to explore opportunities in the real estate sector. Leveraging the strong financial and market foothold of the MSN Group, the newly launched MSN Realty aims to focus primarily on the Hyderabad market, with a target to develop 20 million square feet of residential and commercial spaces over the next five years.
MSN Reddy, Founder, Chairman, and Managing Director of the MSN Group, highlighted the company's vision and plans for the future. "We are excited to enter the real estate market with a focus on Hyderabad, which has shown robust growth and demand in recent years. Our goal is to develop premium residential and commercial properties in some of the city’s most sought-after locations," he said.
The company has already identified key locations for its projects, including Neopolis, Manchirevula, Tellapur, Patancheru, and Isnapur. With a land bank of 40 acres across these areas, including 12 acres at Tellapur, MSN Realty is well-positioned to tap into the city's thriving real estate market. The most prominent of these projects will be a premium segment development on 15 acres at Neopolis, which will feature luxury flats ranging from 2,500 to 7,500 square feet. This venture alone is expected to contribute 8-9 million square feet of the overall target within the next five years.
"Our Neopolis project is particularly significant as it represents a substantial portion of our five-year development goal. We aim to create spaces that blend luxury, functionality, and sustainability, setting a new benchmark in Hyderabad’s real estate market," Reddy added.
While the company has not yet disclosed the specific investment figures for these projects, it has indicated that the real estate venture will involve substantial capital. The focus is on creating value-driven, high-quality developments that cater to the evolving needs of Hyderabad’s residents and businesses. Currently, MSN Realty is in the process of securing necessary approvals from the Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority (HMDA) to move forward with its ambitious plans.
The MSN Group, established 21 years ago, has a strong presence in the pharmaceutical sector with subsidiaries such as MSN Labs, MSN Lifesciences, and Pharma Chem. In the 2023-24 financial year, the group crossed the $1 billion revenue mark, reflecting its significant growth and market leadership. This financial strength and experience in large-scale project management are expected to provide a solid foundation for MSN Realty's foray into real estate.
As MSN Realty embarks on this new journey, the company is set to make a mark in Hyderabad’s dynamic real estate sector, contributing to the city’s skyline with modern and innovative developments. The entry into real estate marks an important milestone for MSN Group, expanding its business horizons beyond pharmaceuticals and into one of the most lucrative sectors in the region.
