Project registrations under the RERA rose 24% despite the Covid-19 pandemic pressure in the real estate sector. Telangana, Maharashtra, Gujarat, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh topped the list of project registrations. Among these top seven states in RERA registrations, Telangana recorded the highest annual growth rate of 79% in project registrations. Tamil Nadu recorded an annual jump of 54% in RERA registrations and Uttar Pradesh has achieved a slow annual growth of 5% in RERA registrations. There has also been a 54% growth in agent registrations under RERA in the States and Union Territories of India.
