The Rajasthan Real Estate Regulatory Authority (RERA) has just revealed a rise in the registration charges for both residential and commercial projects.
Under the revised fee arrangement, a uniform charge is being introduced, specifically targeting standalone residential projects and commercial plots. It's important to note that this supplementary fee will not be imposed on multi-story group housing initiatives.
Per the most recent directive released by the RERA registrar, the registration costs for residential plots are set at Rs 5 per square meter.
Likewise, the registration fee has also been established at Rs 5 per square meter for commercial, industrial, and mixed-use plots. This recent update entails that the RERA will now implement a uniform fee in addition to the pre-existing registration charges.
Commencing from August 1, there will be a uniform fee of Rs 5 per square meter for residential plots and Rs 10 per square meter for commercial, industrial, and mixed-use plots. This fresh guideline is relevant to all schemes that request registration subsequent to the mentioned date.
The uniform fee will be relevant for both private Khatedari and private developer schemes, along with government agency settlement schemes.
Consequently, this implies that municipalities, UITs (Urban Improvement Trusts), Development Authorities, RIICO (Rajasthan State Industrial Development and Investment Corporation), and Housing Boards introducing schemes within the state will also be obligated to adhere to the revised fee structure.
The adoption of the uniform fee is a result of RERA's objective to enhance the registration procedure and guarantee fairer financial support for supervising independent house and commercial plot initiatives.
Through the introduction of a varied fee arrangement, RERA aims to establish an equitable environment for all categories of real estate development projects in Rajasthan.
