During a recent meeting of RERA Rajasthan, it was discussed that the authority may seek support from the Rajasthan Housing Board to complete pending project

Ramesh Chandra Sharma, Registrar of RERA Rajasthan, has stated that the proposal to involve Rajasthan Housing Board in completing the unfinished projects is under consideration. "We recently discussed what actions can be taken regarding the incomplete projects, and one of the proposals was to delegate them to a third party, where RHB was one of the options," he explained.

According to RERA officials, there are currently five major projects that RHB aims to finish as soon as possible.

The five projects that RHB aims to complete soon are Atmosphere Grand-1 and Grand-2 by Samanvay Infra in Jaipur, Guru Pragya Sumeru by Gurukripa Build Home in Jaipur, Avalon Royal Park by GRJ Distributors and Developers in Alwar, and Jaipur Sunrise project by SNG Real Estate.

An official stated that as per regulations, it is their responsibility to address the issues with incomplete real estate projects. They also added that RHB has been performing well for the past few years, hence the decision was made to assign these unfinished projects, along with a few others, to RHB.

Although Housing Commissioner Pawan Arora stated that he has not yet received any communication regarding the proposal, he affirmed that the board is prepared to accept the proposal and complete the unfinished projects.

Arora stated that if RERA decides to hand over these projects, the board would require 12-15% service charges. Meanwhile, RERA officials stated that the decision has not yet been officially approved and would take some time to finalize. Sharma added that the decision is still under consideration, and RERA Rajasthan is expected to have a new chairman soon, after which the final decision will be taken.
