On Wednesday, Telangana RERA (Real Estate Regulatory Authority) Chairman N. Satyanarayana took action by issuing a show cause notice to several firms. These firms, including Radhe Group's Radhe Panorama in Osman Nagar, Om Shree Builders Developers' Om Shree Signet, Bhuvana Teja Infra, TMR Construction Company, and Suvarna Bhumi Infra Developers' Lakeview in Ellapur, Patancheru, have been reprimanded for announcing project launches or extensions without proper registration with the authority.
Under the "RERA" Act, stern measures will be taken against pre-launches of real estate projects lacking approvals from HMDA/GHMC/UDA/local bodies and without registration with TS RERA. This Act pertains to constructions involving over eight plots and areas exceeding 500 square meters.
The dissemination of advertisements without 'RERA' registration and without obtaining permission from DTCP/HMDA/town/local bodies will not be tolerated. Real estate agents are also mandated to undergo registration with RERA. In a press release by Secretary Balakrishna, Chairman Satyanarayana urged prospective buyers to exclusively consider projects that hold RERA registration.
