In the recently unveiled "India Real Estate Vision 2047" report by Knight Frank, Somajiguda secures the second position in the high street rankings of India, underscoring the significant impact of the city on the realm of retail real estate.
Hyderabad clinched five positions within the upper echelon of the top 30 high-street markets, encompassing Somajiguda, Gachibowli, Ameerpet, Banjara Hills, and Jubilee Hills. Notably, Banjara Hills and Jubilee Hills are undergoing a transformation from mere residential zones into versatile and multifaceted districts.
Ameerpet, renowned for its coaching centers, skillfully combines a sense of nostalgia with contemporary shopping experiences. Following Bengaluru's MG Road, Somajiguda secures the second spot, while the top positions on the list are claimed by Linking Road in Mumbai, Delhi's South Extension – I & II, and Kolkata's Park and Camac Street.
The achievement of Hyderabad can be credited to factors such as easy accessibility, ample parking, diverse amenities, high visibility, and robust consumer spending capacity.
According to Knight Frank's report, there are 30 high streets spread across eight cities, encompassing a total retail space of 13.2 million square feet, out of which 5.7 million square feet are specifically allocated to modern retail.
