TS-RERA Commences Virtual Hearings for Complaints

Within 40 days of its establishment, TS-RERA (Telangana State Real Estate Regulatory Authority) has implemented virtual complaint hearings, allowing individuals from around the globe to participate. TS-RERA Chairman N. Satyanarayana highlighted that this approach is particularly advantageous for elderly or disabled individuals who can now conveniently engage in proceedings from their residences when unable to be present in person.

The regulatory body also dispatched notifications to three real estate projects. These projects encompass Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Country - 3 in Aleru and Yadadri, Arna Infra Developers engaged in open plot sales at Maheshwaram and Aranya venture marketing open plots at Chintapalli along Nagarjunasagar Highway and Amanagal along Srisailam Highway. The projects were found to be promoting their offerings through brochures without obtaining mandatory registration from the authority.

In an official statement, the chairman communicated that the promoters responsible for these ventures must respond to the show cause notices within 15 days or potentially face consequences. This marks the second instance this month where TS-RERA has issued notices to real estate firms found in violation.

In the preceding week, notices were served to ventures such as Radhe Panorama in Osman Nagar, RC Puram of Sangareddy; Om Shree Signet for unauthorized construction of ‘E’ Block; Bhuvana Teja Infra project; TMR Construction Company; and Suvarna Bhumi Infra Developers’ Lakeview project in Ellapur of Patancheru.

Mr. Satyanarayana emphasized that any pre-launch of real estate projects lacking approvals from HMDA/GHMC/UDA/Local Bodies and without TS RERA registration would be subject to stringent measures as per the RERA Act. This legal provision is applicable to developments involving over eight lots and spanning areas surpassing 500 square meters. A press release conveyed his appeal to citizens to exclusively invest in properties from projects duly registered with RERA.
