In a letter to the chairperson of the Commission for Air Quality Management (CAQM), Delhi's real estate regulatory authority urged the authorities not to prohibit the construction of RERA-registered apartments because of pollution, as it could adversely affect homebuyers.
The move occurred after the CII Delhi Subcommittee on Real Estate and the Confederation of Real Estate Developers' Associations of India (CREDAI)-NCR sought an exemption from construction bans in Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, and Gurgaon.
