The Uttar Pradesh Real Estate Regulatory Authority (UP RERA) has issued a public notice in newspapers, urging certain builders to present their cases in an online hearing for 32 pending complaints. The authority emphasized that these builders have repeatedly missed previous hearings and warned that any further absence would lead to unilateral decisions by UP RERA.
UP RERA stated, "The parties who do not appear on several dates in the hearing of various benches of UP RERA are being given a last chance to appear through public notice in newspapers. Their non-appearance is hindering the resolution of grievances, necessitating rescheduled hearings, which contradicts the objectives of the RERA Act and the interests of the allottees and other stakeholders."
The notice detailed that of the 32 hearings, 19 will take place at UP RERA's head office in Lucknow. The entities involved include Vasundhara Lotus Infratech, Polars Infradevelopers, Yazdan Constructions, Shinecity Infra Projects, Gayatri Developers, Wealth Matra Infracon, Precious Buildtech, Hydes Infra Projects, and two home buyers.
The remaining 13 complaints will be addressed at UP RERA's regional office in Gautam Buddh Nagar. These involve Satya Homes, Divyanka Homes, the New Okhla Industrial Development Authority (NOIDA), the Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority, Logix Infra Developers, Ashoka Priyansh Builders, Shamiah International Builders, Syore Infraprojects, VXL Realtors, and one home buyer.
