The CREDAI Visakhapatnam chapter is preparing for its ninth three-day property expo, set to occur in the city starting December 23. The event, to be held at Gadiraju Palace near Appu Ghar and Convention Centre on Beach Road, will feature 77 stalls presenting more than 100 projects.
Anticipating a substantial turnout, the expo typically attracts 25,000 to 30,000 visitors annually. The event will feature prominent builders, building material manufacturers, architects, designers, and real estate firms, with nearly 80 stalls at the venues. Visitors can explore a variety of options, engaging directly with marketing teams to discuss potential projects that align with their budget and preferences.
Exhibitors will showcase scaled-down replicas of their projects, featuring plots, houses, sites, villas, and luxury apartments. CREDAI Vizag chapter chairman K.S.R.K. Raju highlighted the positive impact of developments like the proposal to shift the capital to the city, the commencement of work on the international airport at Bhogapuram, and the recent inauguration of the Infosys development centre at Rushikonda on the building activity and real estate business in the city.
Despite increased costs, Mr. Raju reassured that there are no worries regarding the availability of sand and cement. The curtain-raiser function for the expo is planned for November 6, including promotional and interactive sessions on subjects like home loans, as mentioned by E. Ashok Kumar, the vice president.
