In Telangana state, the RERA Act came into existence on August 4, 2017. RERA has introduced transparency to the real estate sector and protects the interests of property buyers, helps to boost investments in the real estate sector. RERA Act in Telangana applies to all existing real estate construction or start-up projects whose proposed development area is 8-apartment units of more than 500 square meters.
